The easiest crispy snack you can make in your air fryer

If you’re looking for a light, crispy snack that’s easy to make and actually satisfying, these air fryer carrot chips are exactly what you need.

They’re crunchy, slightly sweet, and require just a few simple ingredients.

Unlike traditional chips, this version is lighter but still gives you that crispy texture — especially when made in an air fryer.

Tools you’ll need

Ingredients

  • 3–4 carrots, get the biggest ones you can find
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • paprika
  • garlic powder
  • chili flakes

Instructions

1. Prepare the carrots

Wash and peel the carrots.

Slice them into very thin strips or rounds using a knife or vegetable peeler.

The thinner they are, the crispier they get.

2. Season

Place carrots in a bowl.

Add olive oil, salt, and spices.

Mix well so everything is evenly coated.

3. Air fry

Place carrots in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

Cook at 180°C for 10–15 minutes.

Shake halfway through for even cooking.

4. Check texture

Chips should be slightly golden and crispy.

They will crisp up more as they cool.

5. Serve

Serve immediately for best crunch.
