It’s simple, satisfying, and extremely easy to replicate.
Calories (per serving, approx.)

- Fat: ~5 g
Ingredients (makes ~12 bites)
- 2 bananas
- 80 g peanut butter
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 1 tsp coconut oil (optional)
- Optional: crushed peanuts or sea salt
Tools you’ll need
- Knife
- Cutting board
- Spatula (I love this set from amazon)
- Parchment paper / silicone mat
- Bowl for melting chocolate

Instructions
1. Slice the bananas
Peel the bananas and cut them into bite-sized slices (about 2–3 cm thick).
Try to keep them similar in size for even freezing.
2. Add the peanut butter
Take one slice, add a small amount of peanut butter on top, then place another slice on top to create a sandwich.
Repeat until all pieces are used.
3. Freeze
Place the banana bites on a tray lined with parchment paper.
Freeze for about 1–2 hours until solid.
This step is essential so they hold their shape when dipped in chocolate.
4. Melt the chocolate
Melt the dark chocolate with coconut oil until smooth and glossy.
You can do this in the microwave in short intervals or using a double boiler.
5. Coat the bites
Dip each frozen banana bite into the melted chocolate or drizzle chocolate on top.
If desired, sprinkle crushed peanuts or sea salt before the chocolate sets.
6. Freeze again
Place them back on the tray and freeze for another 10–15 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
7. Serve
Enjoy straight from the freezer for the best texture.

Tips for the best result
- Use ripe bananas for natural sweetness
- Don’t skip freezing before dipping
- Keep chocolate slightly warm for easier coating
- Work quickly so the bites don’t soften
Make it lighter (lower calorie swaps)
- use powdered peanut butter mixed with water
- drizzle chocolate instead of fully coating
- reduce peanut butter quantity slightly
- use higher cocoa chocolate
